Documentation for the business visa to enter Italy

Italian Embassy - Visa Section

Business Visa:
1- visa application form duly filled and signed.
2- recent passport-style photo.
3- passport or travel document valid for at least three months after visa expiry date (you also need to add a copy of previous Schengen visas, if available, and a copy of first four pages of the passport).
4- return-trip booking or ticket or proof of available means of personal transport.
5- documentation demonstrating status as financial-commercial operator (e.g. business license, Chamber of Commerce/Chamber of Industry certificates, Letter of recommendation from the  relevant Jordanian professional body or professional Board/Chamber etc.).
6- travel agenda indicating scheduled business contacts or letter of invitation from an Italian company (see the attached invitation letter, also available at www.ambamman.esteri.it).
7- proof of economic means of support (e.g. cash, bank guarantees, travelers cheques, insurance policy guarantees or equivalent credit instruments, vouchers for prepaid services or other documents demonstrating access to sources of income in Italy) as per the Italian Ministry of Interior Directive 1.3.2000 (see the attached table).
8- health insurance policy with a minimum coverage of €30,000 for emergency hospital and repatriation expenses.

To facilitate the management of the file, specified documentation should be presented as follows:
- Copy + original.
- In the order of the list.
Be advised:
- the Embassy reserves its right to request further documentation.
 
Warning:
- Visa fee must be paid in JOD. No other visa fees in addition to the aforementioned are required. No urgency fees for any type of visa can be charged.
- Notice is hereby given that this Embassy does not accept any application form from third party with the exception of accredited travel agencies.
